What a long winter this is...

Well, it is my first winter with snow all around...hehe...but its simply beautiful really!

Sorry yet again for the long absence! Since now the problem arises from my laptop problem...but no worries as all is fixed & operating smoothly now...Furthermore it has been a really busy month with Christmas around the corner! Below are just some capture of my current state & my visual field! =P

So far we sold 700 over boxes(each having 3 cupcakes!) for 60rub~

It was a really beautiful day where we spend our day(morning) cooking away! As well as trying to hide from the b'day gal who happens to be my neighbour...hehe...

Really grateful for such a blessed meal!

The day i got abducted~

Im worried! (they put on alien suit on me!)

Clearly,they want some information or something$$$ from me!
They put some chemical X on my hair...
They try to vapourise my head~
Then bundle my hair up in some liquid Q & put up a 'hot' hologram image to make me think im fine...
Later try to brainwash me in a bubble hat!
They serve me with tea Y & showed me some magazines to keep me busy...They replayed the 'hot' hologram to further seduce me into giving them something$$$ or to get some information?

Okies...cut the crap...U can just tell how bored & lame i am now...>.<'' neways~

The above was how i got my hair permed...thus naming myself Ms.Goldilocks~(not as gold as u think but yea~)

They did manage to get that something$$$ out of me...

It was raining heavily that day, as u can see in the pics, KL is still bad in their drainage system...wonder do they have drains there sometimes~

So yea, it got FLOODED...Jam was trice as worst...

(sadly the car i desire most to own in the future, is always seen broken down during bad times...)

I thank GOD our car was fine...my dad would be furious if he found out otherwise!It was a cocktail event, we were served alcoholic beverages(red wine, white wine & champaigne)The white wine was great!

Hey guys! How's things?

Im fine...Just stress like everyone else...& lazy too! hehe...but have to force myself to study too...Have to 'ambil hati' teachers here as well...Susahnya to please them...hehe.

So far so good, one thing is everyone is still busy with all their Finals & Majors! Can see the tension in everyone! Especially when your living in a close nit hostel where almost everyone knows everyone & your every move is somehow watched! Till even other hostels will find out bout what you did wrong!~ (they nvr really bother the positive side...)

Man...im procrastinating...I don't want to study physics! T.T (why am I not anymore brilliant...)

Ok...I shall resume my studies! Plus need to practise more Russian too!

Hey guys! So sorry lack of updates! Internet here in Russia is really not good...Or maybe its just in my hostel? Where u get supply of cheap(er) internet usage...hmm...

So long since the internet is down! Now only it works...

Well, I'm still alive & surviving on minimum cash at hand...hehe...

Can't believe I got through the week without HOT water at all! Just icy cold water for the week! >.< (had to boil some amount of water to bath!) Might have to do this in years to come too! Wonder why they so hard working in cleaning the water reservoir or tanky & yet we have to filter the water & boil it before consuming...

Oh well, so far all is well! Just had to study for Mid-terms & stuff...I'm sure everyone is!

It was a great day today! The highlight of the day was I had an amazing Summerace today! Organised by WCCI church(which I attend in Russia now, a charismatic church)~ Unfortunately, I don't have the pic's for today at hand...=P So I will post bout it soon!

Well, the next highlight of the day is...

Since it is a nice breezee day, & my body is in the adrenalin mode due to the equivalent Amazing Race/Summer Race. I decided to bake a cake.(havent baked for 2 weeks or more...>.<)

Well, the cake 'Chocolate Banana' flavor did not turn out as plan...The texture just wasnt right(partially right)...So I decided to try to put some piece of cake into the microwave to heat it till it turn harder. It kinda worked tho! It tasted like brownie's later. =D yum!

So I shared the cake with my roomies, & told her to do the same, to put it in the microwave.

After doing so for a few rounds...

& also giving a few lookout to check if it burnt...

Scenario:

-''*ROOMMATE!!! 有烟！有烟(there's smoke!)!!!''

-(roommate turns to look)O.O(while I look at her & the microwave)
-roommate RUN's to the microwave!
(microwave was covered-in & out with tons of smoke!)
-TURN microwave OFF
-Open the microwave
-We both stare in amazement for a moment & just laugh non stop while explaining the whole thing to our other roommate who just came back in shocked! >,<
-We kept laughing...3 of us open the door & windows while we stand at the opposite end of the room, away from the smoking microwave! 0,0

My 21st Birthday ~
All the way in Russia...
I have never ever, ever, ever! did imagine I'd celebrate my 21st birthday over here...
Like oversea, away from my family & close friends,

I never really gave thought in planning how my 21st birthday would be but I roughly did imagine that I'd celebrate this significant year with family & friends back home with a pretty little grand party...>.< style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 204, 102);">GREAT!!!

I had 3 cakes!
(helps compensate my dream HUGE cake!=P)

3rd cake- Classic Cheesecake
from кофения,(look alike Starbucks kafe, 24hrs)
My roommate took me out on my bday itself cos i look so 'ke lian' because most celebrated at midnight & the day b4...=P
I was craving for cheesecake...

2nd cake- RUSSIAN special? Waferbiscuit like top with Almond & other nuts around it where the inside is like sugary with white egg bitten till fluffy? Filling taste like the cake found in Australia oni!(so not oni in Australia?...) This was bought by my batch mates! At 12midnight! Yum yum!

One of the more normal cake as well! Was bought by cell group members in my room! Celebrated with another guy who happen to be born on the same day, same month, same year as me! but not sure bout the timing...hmm...Long lost twin brother? hehe

Hey all! So sorry for the long absence...Lots of alasan i can give too! hehe...The best is I have to chase ppl to actually top up my internet account to use...NO Money NO Internet!

Hmm...So far I have been busy with exams lo...Almost daily...but i think it helps me learn more tho...hehe. >.< Tho can be tiring...

Also, I have been eating all the time...Been going around places & eating people's food around the hostel...hehe...*free food* =P

We are also pretty free most of the time & play with our hair...watching series circulating around the hostel plus I even watch movie during break in lecture! Through my friend touch screen i-pod!( I want it...>.< hehe)

Oh...I was intro this 'Estrella' chips the 1st time I went grocery shopping...They say it's better then 'LAYS' plus this was free because my class Malay chipmunks bought it (bacon flavoured) by mistake...=POh, this is Russian food call ''пельменя'' (pelmeni)Yea, this is how me & my roommates do with our free time...haha(after watching some moive that gave us inspiration)...(it looked like a lion mane at 1st! but weird it may seem...a lot commeted how nice it look...& they are all guys...my conclusion is they have weird taste, cos i personally was not too proud bout it!>.< )

Lastly, yea! Happy Birthday mom...I wanted to sms her but my good ol hand phone decided to give up on me...I cant use quite a lot of keys...Somemore its no. 2, 5, O & the call button!~

The time when were most at peace & in total happiness, is the time when something bad happens to ruin it...(>.< we had to wake up early on a cold & rainy ''public holiday'' instead of snuggling in our cosy bed... )

Demonstration? Some tradition carried out by freshman's in Russia- To walk to the city square(Red Sq.) while parading your Uni's flag & so happen our respective countries(for foreign students) flag too!

Later in the evening...We went to watch Live Band Performance outside of 'Manezh'! It was so cool/cold!...My roommate was part of the asian group too!( They won some competition earlier & was requested to perform in the public-now>>) They were great! They had pianist/singer, violinist, bass player, electric guitar player, chinese flute, & drummer in their group. Other bands were good too! The next band had a sax' player in it as well!

They have barbie doll long legs & slander body! *no hope liao >.<''* hehe...Though, one catch is that when they become 'Ъаъушка' ('babooshka')=old lady . They change physically...& past their glorious stage(at least they were once hot?)...

Guys le, only a minority...sadly...Even so, language is a great barrier...hehe...

Alright, enough lamenting...

It is getting colder each day!hehe... Which is weird cause it is Spring going towards summer in a month or two...Suppose to get hotter. It even snowed a little the other night! (was 0 to -2 degree) but somehow I also cant wait till winter when I get to see the whole place all white & the thing that im most anticipated about is the "SNOW FLAKES" which we can see during winter! Apparently also, skating is pretty cheap here, u know why, so i might give it a try...(never skated before)

Oh oh! I'm also very very very HAPPY! =D Thanks to all of your messages! Thanks guys! Really mean a lot to me! I will try to upload pics soon! Been trying but it jz wont let me...(pls pls pls!let me! >.<)

Okay, I havent chat bout my daily life yet...So far, go to class everyday, eat not much(really, hungry most of the time...),baking, cooking, attending church, do hw, have control test always(after each topic), fighting for-toilet, bathroom, kitchen stove daily too...hehe. Not to mention exterminating cockroaches...Sounds like a challenging life isn't it?but its good for me! Keeps me busy...

My russian is still not that good (but 'boleh tahan' for me?!=P)...I need to get a Russian friend somehow to help me improve,but ppl here are not generally friendly (even to their own kind, they hardly smile) Its totally different than when in Australia. My conclusion would be that it is because of the weather? Most of the time cold & gloomy? hehe...They say that ppl living at Tropical places are the hapiest & most friendly cause we get more SUN! =P Did I mention, im like the darkest chinese gal here...compare to those around me now...so fair/white...hehe...maybe i'll come back fairer too? somehow...

I am well & in good health.

Weather is about 4-9 degree recently. Its only cold when the wind blows...(I only have summer cloths T.T) but THANKS to Jaclyn,Jo Kien & Justin I have a nice wintery jacket to tahan! hehe...Love u all!

Classes has started...its Monday-Saturday.

Now im already settled down. I even started to bake cake's...hehe.

A lot of Msian's here. So far can get along! Everyone is always busy...as expected.

Im staying in a 3 ppl bedroom. It has a fridge, microwave even.

Im staying with 2 Msian girls. One into her 4th year & the other is into her 5th year here. Their both Christian's too & their both so nice to me! We started baking & cooking for each other too...

The accomodation here is not that good, but managable.hehe...lots of cockroach tho..but little one's.

Oh, I have Russian classes daily too! Soon i'll be fluent in a new language! Feel's like kindergarten kid again! The chairs & table too...Seriously everything is very unexpected! but no complains! =P

Oh! As most Msian's are here...The kitchen is always pack & the hallways are always full of aroma of ppl's cooking! Every weekend, some Msian's will be cooking & selling food too! They even sell Ho Kien mee! haha...Got one sell sushi, one sell pizza, one sells indian cappati & other food on sale too! They send to your doorstep...All by our very own students here in KSMU haha!

Everyone also like competing who cook well! So i must hone my cooking skill too! My baking skill too!

Well, my rubbles are running a lot...My internet is on credit line...So it eats my $$$ base on how many Mb i use...So I'll probably upload way less pics or update my blog less...but! I will try my best to keep u all update on my current situation! Love you all! =D

For the past few days, ever since the news of me flying off on Friday has been circulating around...I have been asked about a lot of similar question's! hehe...The most common one is ''Do you feel EXCITED about going there?''

The truth is...

I am quite/extremely anxious & pretty nervous about going there... Its such an odd feeling because I was super excited about going Australia the last time. Now, I dont know much about Russia eventhough I've checked it out. Many people keep telling me how cold it is there but I have yet to drill that in my head...(Most of my cloths packed are summer cloths, hehe, cause that's all i have! Don't worry guys, I can tahan cold! I think...)

I'm actually going there in a blur kind of state, not knowing what will hit me (but i love surprises!=P)...*Pray for me!*

Well, all I can do now is pray for the best & do my part...Move forward & stay positive! (Everyone too!)

Most of all, I'd want to thank GOD & all my friends & family for their support! I won't let you guys down!

On Saturday, we had our usual basketball routine which supposedly to be held 8-8.30am in the morning...but normally one of us will arrive round 9am...hehe(sorry im always late!)

After that, we'd have our breakfast with (every Sat) the choice of:

1. Mamak nearby

2. Dim Sum nearby

(Mostly depends on our budget.)

Later, we all split as me & Jac went to KLCC and JoKrys went to Bukit Bintang area. We plan to meet up after our missions.

That became so true throughout my life. I used to think things in a more simple and happy go lucky way. Somehow, I cant keep doing that anymore. I believe neither of us can afford to do so. I will be so jeolous of those who can...

Now, I feel as though my life is on hold. Everybody seems to be moving forward. I guess its just a matter of time. Not that I do not appreciate the time im in now. Situations just wont allow me to, but...I am gonna keep my hopes high and pray for the best! I want to excel with everyone! =P

4. Went to Byron Bay during hol's, was FUN!

5. Did laundry, finally...(after a month or so...XP)

6. Weather is super hot!~(30- 32 degrees daily) but i did wanted summer to come!(regretting a lil)

Yes! I want a JOB! I want to earn some hard earn $$$!

I want to spend without feeling a sense of guilt & I want to live a harder life...weird...I want a more fulfilling life i guess...I always wanted a life full of adventure! Like travelling around the world! Experiencing new life in a far away country! Doing odd jobs for a living...I guess i watch too much movie...but their all just so motivating! but i guess life aint as easy or flowing like it seems in movies...hehe.Still i want a more adventures life! =P

So im looking for a suitable good pay job that would somehow fit my ever so tight schedule of Uni course...hmm...Please oh please have favour on me Lord! I pray! Please pray for me i'll get the job i want & that i could do! I actually found or rather asked about which would be good! Its a printing shop in Uni! I hope i get it! I now have to write a very presentable & impressive resume to hand in asap! Gonna do it today & hand in tommorow! Hopefully I get to see the manager! Mr. Luke! May he have favour on me too! Must dress smart tommorow! hehe...

Recently, i missed our Sirius College house cats... Havent seen them since i came back from holiday. Apparently one of them, 'Chi~' had suffered from a serious injury & had to do some minor surgery. The Vet said that somone had kick it so hard that it suffered some broken bones? I think, thats what i heard of. Now the cats are replaced by chickens from a nearby white house which often come to peck for food on the ground. Their so BIG, FAT, JUICY & NICE! hehe...Haruka wants to get their eggs! Their both Hens i guess...

Also, now every night were doing dancing classes! Ballet, Hip Hop, Pop...the list goes on. Whatever dance that we can handle, we'll do it! The reason for this was because we were inspired by all the dance movies like Step Up, Honey...etc. Okay, truth be told! Main reason is all of us would like to loose weight >.<"...minus Ryohei ofcourse! So now were eating a more healthy diet & cutting down on chocs...but i really wonder how long this will last...hehe.

Oh, for this term im im doing Anatomy & Physiology II, Biological Chemistry II, Phytotherapy I and lastly Nutrition I. Must must must study harder & do all or most of the readings b4 class preferably! Help me!

What else...M feeling much better but way tired...Settled most of everything i need to settle...Now all i have to do is mange my time & get a stinkin JOB!!! Arrrhhh...Actually my grandma say if i need $$$ just let her know than she will ask my dad or grandpa or send me some money herself...but...I just dont wanna ask money from them...Dont wanna extort? more money...Man...money is the root to all evil!

Oh well, will feel much better when get job, earn OWN money, spend OWN money, waste OWN money, use OWN money!

I also have to say i suddenly miss home more this time...So late right? I dont really miss it during first semester...haihz...Dont know why? So finally! The long awaited trip of the year which i lament all throughout our 1st Semester's exam! Hehe...Here goes...

How time flies! Today will be the last day im at Sydney & I will be flying to Gold Coast tomorrow morning at 9am. Cant wait, but feel lazy...So tired too! Been having fun this 1 & a half week in Sydney but it has been very tiring as well! Been window shopping a lot & better yet! EATING all the kind of M'sian food which im currently depriving of in Lismore! but seriously, I still prefer Lismore over Sydney! Everyone here is so uptight & everyone for themselves! SO many asians here as well...Dont feel like Sydney at all...hehe...So...

Wow, it has been so long since i've been blogging...hehe. Not that i've been busy or anything... Just TOTALLY BORED!!! & the weather is not in a good condition to be walking around!(I dont have internet in my room!) Since its winter!

The temperature here is like getting lower each time! Now its below 19 degrees in the day! Super WINDY! & it has been raining the past few days! Really dislike the rain! but thank goodness, today is a pretty fine weather...Just that its really really windy! >.<' (can be blown OFF)

Now my main worries is money! I wish i have more money...Have to SAVE up n START WORKING SOON!!! PLEASE help me find a good PAY JOB!!! Dont mind working hard! >.<"

Was pretty hectic in booking the table & all, but thank goodness it went well...Since in the end there was 15 of us...We have to split to 2 tables...

Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise on 12.04.07

During our Easter break we decided to head to somewhere FUN! Where else but GOLD COAST! (that is near) So here are some of the many pic's we took during my trip to Gold Coast~ Actually we took loads! haha...

Day 1- Barry & Rae was directing Ryohei~

Yea! On our long awaited vacation!
Decided to change our accomodation to a Resort! but was pretty worth it...A$72 for 2 nights?

We actually ran across the highway to get across to the other side of the beach.(hav 2 beach facing each other) We dare not swim across as the tight has rise & those inconsiderate guys had swam over leaving us helplessly behind...Anyways we got across with much debate~ Gotten many 'honks' too! =P

Yea, home sweet home...(lismore) Not really, actually! Missing Surfer's Paradise @ Gold Coast now!!!...Dont wanna come back! but...still...need to get back to UNI life...

At Gold Coast, Surfer's Paradise was fantastic experience! Seriously L-O-V-E it! Thats where L-I-F-E is~ missing it dearly already! I want the city life again! I want, i want, i want!!!

Oh well, i wished i got to study at Gold Coast but the best is still to study at Lismore where there is LESS distraction & more focusing i guess...hehe...still...

Time Waits for no Man~

So easter had just pass me by! It went by so quickly! Cant blieve its gone in a sec! Soon gonna start Uni live again! How i dread it! I so love this holiday (study) break! Did some study but mainly doing the other...

Been eating a lot of chocs! Easter chocs! So so so yummy! haha...Dont regret, just need to drink more water! Since i get dehydrated faster as the temperature over here has drop. Its about 20-24 degrees daily. So everyday now is like Cameron Highland... At night is extra super cold! Need to on heater too! Fortunately i bought the feather Quilt, if not i'll still be freezing with just a blanket from home!

Will be going to Gold Coast this Thursday with friends! (So need to study!) Cant wait to go! Gonna have fun & do *some* shopping! hehe...=P

Gonna die next week! As i have presentation & 2 Mid-Term exam due! Arghh...they love spoiling our hol's~! Anyways! will do my best! Gambarimasu min-na!

Just some gathering we have quite long ago which now only i get to post about it...Were always having gathering for dinner like every weekend, just to get everyone together to have some fun! This was like one of our first gathering i think... So me & the japs were responsible for cooking that day~ The food was so GOOD!!! I love the choc chip ice cream...hehe~

2nd Weekend Market @ The Channon

The 2nd weekend of march another market is held @ The Channon. This is what i call a market!~ It was huge! Maybe bigger than The Curve Bazaar? Best of all, its a craft market! TANOSHI KA TA~!!! It was fun! So far, there's no other market that can be compared to this market! So many things to see and to buy! hehe...Bought some jewelry from that market! =P

Mark & Craig was nice enough to bring us there~thx loads! =D

Finally a blog with no pic's...hehe...Wanted to upload some but apparently i cant find the stinking CPU on this com im working at now at the library...Just cant see it?! people around me must think im crazy looking at them...trying to find that CPU. Oh well, its okay, i'll make sure the next time i use the com i'll check for its (obvious)CPU!

Anyway's, i am having a great time here in Australia. Thank you so much guys for your concern and prayers!~ Loving u guys & missing u guys loads back home! Missing my sis too! Wonder how is she doing at NS! hmm...How will she look like after the 3 months? hehe...I on the other hand got pretty much darker(not fatter!dont worry!!tho eating loads of ice-cream n choc's!now got ulcer & breakouts.... =P) So dark compare to others...but i think they seem to want my skin better, they really LOVE SUN TANNING!

Currently, im obsessed with fashion...Especially the dresses here! but their consider cheap, one for A$15 after discount. They have discount like all the time. Which is just so tempting! Urghh...becoming totally like a SHOPAHOLIC!!!No!~Actually am spending quite a bit i must confess...but dont worry! I wont over spend!(i think...)

Oh, Jo Kien, i'll try my best to put up the chatter box! Tried to~ long time ago but it just didnt turn up! Thanks for all u guys comment~ now i know a lot of people is reading my blog...I'll try to update further! Got lots to update but need time hehe...Been hanging out alot! Every weekend actually...but today night gonna eat laksa which Mark(S'pore guy) will be cooking. Not from scratch tho(he got the paste). Cant wait to eat...hehehe. Alrite, about Uni life...independant is good but we must have discipline which i lack much...i've been doing some reading but seriously need to do much more!(Now library gonna be my 2nd home!) I have assignments which are gonna be due soon...Presentation's to prepare as well!(Scary!i have stage fright u noe?! Worst is judge by my peers!) Oh well, gonna try my best to get it all done on time & do my best! Gambatte! Been learning quite a lot of Japanese! ureshii ne! Jac, i'll try to converse with u in Jap when im back! Haruka & others say i should learn Fukuoka dialect from Ryohei cause it sounds so cute? hehe...
